HOW TO SUBMIT A PROJECT
Publication of your project in Green Volunteers - the World Guide to Voluntary Work in
Nature Conservation and in the Green Volunteers website is free as long
as the project is consistent with our objectives (sorry no ecotourism!).
Projects ideally require little financial contribution from volunteers
but may also be accepted if the contribution is not considered
excessive.
Prospective volunteers are mostly students but there are many
professionals willing to make their various skills available to
conservation projects. Active since the first printing of the guide in
1997, Green Volunteers now provides a further service: a website and
e-mail newsletter where projects and organizations can post openings for
volunteers, internships or jobs. Green Volunteers has an excellent
reputation among conservation organizations worldwide as an instrument
to find highly motivated volunteers.
For more information on how to include your project (free of charge)
in our website or in the next edition of the guide, inquiries must be
addressed exclusively via e-mail: please see
Contact Us.
Note: for free publication in
the Guide and/or website we do require a link or banner to
our website from the organization's website. If your
organization is in a developing country and does not have a
website please contact us and we will help to find a
solution. |
